He is the founder of the Gavaniyar Thar Lok Kalakar Samity, an independent committee for folk artists in Bikaner, Rajasthan. Initially working under the Urmul Trust from 2002 to 2006, it became a separate entity on September 26, 2006, empowering artists to take charge of their own futures. Since then, Gavaniyar has been a beacon for traditional folk arts, uplifting and supporting talented individuals in their craft. With a mission to preserve Rajasthan’s vibrant cultural heritage, it has opened doors for hundreds of artists, ensuring they can lead dignified lives through their art.
